Sort Lab Privacy Policy

Developer: eowl · Effective 3 October 2026

This policy explains what information the Android app Sort Lab ("the app") collects and how it is used. The app is published by eowl ("we").

The short version

Information stored on your device

The app saves your level progress, stars, daily streak, the puzzle you are playing, and your settings (sound, vibration, theme, color symbols) in the app's private storage on your device. We do not receive this data. If you use Android's device backup, your progress may be included in your Google backup under Google's terms; ad and consent data is excluded. Uninstalling the app deletes this data from the device.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show ads: optional rewarded videos you choose to watch for a hint or an extra tube, and occasional full-screen ads between levels. Google may collect and process the following to deliver, personalize (where permitted), measure, and protect ads against fraud:

This data is sent to Google, encrypted in transit, and handled under Google's Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your choices

Remote settings

The app may download a small public settings file from this website to adjust how often ads appear. The request contains no personal information beyond what any web request includes (such as your IP address), and we do not log or analyze it.

App statistics

Google Play provides us with aggregated, anonymous statistics such as install counts, ratings, and crash reports. We do not use any separate analytics service.

Children

Sort Lab is designed for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will help remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
