This policy explains what information the Android app Number Slide ("the app") collects and how it is used. The app is published by eowl ("we").
The short version
- No accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- Your game progress and settings stay on your device.
- The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google's ads SDK collects some device data to serve and measure ads, as described below.
Information stored on your device
The app saves your games in progress, best moves and times, goals, daily streak, the mode you last played, and your settings (sound, vibration, theme) in the app's private storage on your device. We do not receive this data. If you use Android's device backup, your progress may be included in your Google backup under Google's terms; ad and consent data is excluded. Uninstalling the app deletes this data from the device.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show ads: optional rewarded videos you choose to watch for an extra hint or 30 more seconds in Time Attack, and occasional full-screen ads after a game ends (never after the daily challenge). Google may collect and process the following to deliver, personalize (where permitted), measure, and protect ads against fraud:
- Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Ad interactions and app usage related to ads
- Diagnostics, such as crash and performance data from the SDK
This data is sent to Google, encrypted in transit, and handled under Google's Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Your choices
- Consent: where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK, and some US states), the app asks for your consent through Google's consent tool before ads use your data. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy choices.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
- Ad personalization: you can manage it at My Ad Center.
Remote settings
The app may download a small public settings file from this website to adjust how often ads appear. The request contains no personal information beyond what any web request includes (such as your IP address), and we do not log or analyze it.
App statistics
Google Play provides us with aggregated, anonymous statistics such as install counts, ratings, and crash reports. We do not use any separate analytics service.
Children
Number Slide is designed for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will help remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
